It amazes me how many politicians flunked math. With states cutting back police and fire departments and other utilities and social programs because of lack of funds, politicians will not admit that immigrants are one of the biggest drains on state resources.
Immigration reform should be a major priority for both Congress and the president. Such reform should bring predictability and fairness for many groups affected by the current piecemeal and ill-considered system.
